Saskia & Brendon held their recent nuptials on the island of Tortola (Virgin Portraits' home base). Saskia and her seven bridesmaids got dressed in Beautiful "Sunset House" overlooking Long Bay Beach The beach ceremony was held on secluded "Smuggler's Cove" amidst the coconut palms. That evening Saskia, Brendon and their 100 guests celebrated their wedding with a pig roast reception at "Fish n' Lime" ( located on the water at nearby Soper's Hole)and much fun was had by all !
I would say a truly island style wedding- Congratulations to Saskia and Brendan :)
Recently, I was asked about Saba Rock, a prospective wedding client was in the midst of picking her location and wanted to know if it was a good place for their wedding ceremony in the BVI.
(Saba Rock is a tiny little island apparently dropped into the middle of North Sound, Virgin Gorda. It has a small hotel and restaraunt and is a popular stop for sailors)
So I decided to post a few of Stephanie and Andrew's l photos taken during their recent Vow renewal on the "rock" as you can see, a stunning location and those colours are just hard to beat..beautiful !
Look out for our cover shot chosen for publication on the winter 2014 edition of USA Today's Go ESCAPE magazine. In the stores now. Modeling for this shoot is Christina our very own Virgin Gorda branch Allamanda Gallery sales queen. :)
Photography by Amanda.

During the past eleven years we have worked with lots of great florists, hairdressers, make-up artists and other wedding vendors. The BVI certainly have their share of expertise in these fields and we are often asked for reccomendations of these sort by our clients.
"The Oasis Salon and Spa comes highly reccomended, we have worked with Joanne and her crew many times and they are responsible for many of our bride's "up-do"s, make up and styling.
The Oasis Salon is based in Road Town at Village Cay Marina but has just opened a second location at Top of The Baths in Virgin Gorda (next door to our own "The Allamanda Gallery")
So wherever, in the BVI, you plan to tie the knot Oasis Salon can provide you with fabulous hair and make up for your wedding day. Contact them at 284 494 8891 or www.oasisbvi.com
