Read about two more Virgin Portraits wedding stories in the new Experience BVI Hard Cover Book just launched yesterday.. This is the 10th edition of the Experience BVI publication and will be prominent in hotel rooms and charter vessels this coming 2012/2013 season. Congratulations Experience BVI :)
When Tonya and Eric's Cruise schedule incurred a sudden itinerary change mid-trip, plans for their wedding ceremony in Virgin Gorda were almost thrown for a loop.. Stopping at another British Virgin Island for the day - Jost Van Dyke , the Sea Dream would not be stopping in Virgin Gorda, as planned, until later that evening.
Whilst most couples would have panicked and called their wedding planner with a last minute cancellation or location change, Tonya and Eric packed up their wedding attire early in the morning and began the trek from Westerly Jost Van Dyke to Easterly Virgin Gorda .
Dropped ashore by the Yacht's tender, in Jost Van Dyke, they jumped aboard a local ferry boat to the neighboring island of Tortola. Tonya and Eric took a jitney bus along the stunning coast road of Tortola's south shore to Road Town where they boarded Speedy's ferry to the beautiful island of Virgin Gorda. Another short taxi ride found them at their planned spot to tie the knot- Savannah Bay. Finding themselves at the beach with time to spare they swam and enjoyed the pristine water and almost deserted beach until myself and the wedding planner arrived shortly joined by Pastor Ricketts. Discreetly climbing out of her bikini and into her wedding gown under a shady gazebo, Tonya looked amazing for her barefoot ceremony.
Happily wed, Tonya and Eric went on to Little Dix Bay after the ceremony for a candlelight dinner on the beach watching their Yacht Sea Dream sail by underway way to nearby North Sound, Virgin Gorda where they dropped anchor for the night .
Heres wishing you both much happiness together,
